about me

Hi, I’m Alexandra Nuyda, a portrait photographer with over 6 years of experience. I go by Alex. ◡̈My journey as a photographer started as a hobby. Taking photos of family, friends, dogs, food, and sceneries was my special way to always keep my memories. These experiences slowly transformed my hobby into a passion. I love capturing the stories of others, and creating art that helps communities feel celebrated and beautiful.When I'm not taking photos, I'm either working, perfecting my next yoga pose, checking out a new restaurant, or spending time with my loved ones. morning photoshoot examples

start time of ~7:45am. sun is rising on the east, so the founder's court side of the sallyport is getting direct light. light is very soft and perfect for photos in the lovell hall arches.good choice for those who would prefer to minimize background distractions and like cooler, softer, and lower-contrast photos.

start time of ~5:45pm. sun is setting on the west, so the academic quad side of the sallyport is in direct lighting. light and shadows are harsher in the lovett hall arches, but nice and even in the shade—perfect for inner loop photos.good choice for those who like warmer, higher-contrast photos, but don't mind the potential of some background distractions.
